Part 1: Introduction to the Puja

This video provides the list of all the necessary Puja samagri (material) required to perform the Puja with a list of products included in the Puja kit and a list of products that would be required to be kept ready by the devotee before the Puja.


Part 2: How to prepare for the puja?

This video provides the suggested Placement of all the Puja Samagri (material) as per the template provided.


Part 3: How to perform the puja?

Refer the puja video below to perform the main Puja in the morning; it is ideal to be completed before 10 AM in the presence of the entire family

- When mantras are being chanted, the video has been slowed so that you may choose to recite it along with the video

- Naivedya and traditional offerings are to be kept handy and ready

- The Puja area is to be kept undisturbed until the Visarjana is completed

- Do not move the idol until it is time for the Visarjana Vidhi to be performed

- Do not look at the moon in the evening or night of Bhadrapada Shukla Chaturthi - it is considered inauspicious


Part 4: How to perform the Visarjana procedure?

Visarjana is the completion of the Puja. It provides a closure to the Puja procedures and is a time when the family together performs the short Visarjana Vidhi. Refer to the video below for this procedure.
