Saphala Ekadashi is celebrated in the honour of Lord Vishnu. It is observed on the Ekadashi tithi i.e. the 11th day of the Krishna Paksha during the Hindu month of Paush. It is believed that by fasting on this day, the devotees can get rid of all their sins and are blessed with immense happiness. Ekadashi is dedicated to worshipping Lord Vishnu, also known as the preserver of this Universe.
The word saphala in Hindi means ‘to be successful’ and therefore this ekadashi is observed by those who desire success and happiness in all the fields of their lives.
Cycle Pure wishes you a blessed Saphala Ekadashi.
